California born, Mississippi raised, and Texas based, Angela Fabbri is a self-taught artist. Internationally recognized for her backwards text-based work, she has earned praise from press, celebrity and international collectors. With her contemporary realism and bold use of color, she has achieved milestones, including exhibiting at the prestigious 2019 Florence Biennale in Italy, a solo exhibition in the artistic haven of Marfa, TX, and consecutive participation in the largest art week in the world, Art Basel Week Miami.
Her creative talent manifested early on when, at the age of 16, she received her first commission. With over 25 years creating, Fabbri has been a professional artist since 2017, and her work can be found in 100s of private and corporate collections.
The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Los Angeles recognized her talent in 2017, selecting her work for a group exhibition in Houston, a gesture echoed again in 2018 by the assistant curator for the Whitney in New York. Live painting events for Baccarat, Thrillist, and Dos Equis further established her presence in an interactive way.
In 2019, Fabbri expanded her engagement with art enthusiasts by establishing a popup gallery at Houston's luxury shopping destination, The River Oaks District. With iconic neighbors, Harry Winston, Hermes
and others, Fabbri's kaleidoscopic world of color became a captivating destination for three exhilarating months.
Fabbri’s work has been featured in several publications including, Vogue, The Washington Post, The Houston Chronicle, Modern Luxury, Paper City, The Book of Lists, and The Round Top Show Guide. She looks forward to continuing her passionate journey in this wonderful world of color.
